INVITATION TO BID

Sealed proposals, addressed to The Metropolitan District for the following Contract(s) will be received at the office of the District Clerk of The Metropolitan District, First Floor, 555 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut (MAIL ADDRESS: 555 MAIN STREET, HARTFORD, CT 06103-2987) until 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME on MARCH 25, 2010, at which time they will be opened and read at the District's Headquarters Building, 555 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut.

Contract No. 2010-9 – FURNISHING AND INSTALLING MIXING DEVICE IN WATER STORAGE TANK GLASTONBURY, CT

There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for all prospective bidders at the Hartford Water Pollution Control Facility, Administration Building, Assembly Room at 240 Brainard Road, Hartford, Connecticut on March 12, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., Local Time. Site visit will be conducted. (BIDDERS ARE ASKED TO ATTEND THIS MEETING TO VISIT THE SITE, AS NO OTHER VISITS WILL BE SCHEDULED).

Please note all bidders submitting proposals on this requirement must adhere to the MBE and WBE Goals Provision contained in the Bidder Package.
