The Riverfront Recapture / MDC team was made up of : Rick Alvarado, Bob Beeman, Denise Bennett, Mario Calderone, Hyzell Collins, Catherine Corto Mergins, Trudy Gates, Troy Hester, Janis McCarroll, Colleen McCarthy, Keith Mitcheltree, Anthony Patrizzo, Renee Poirier, Bert Quintana, George Robertson, Eustace Rose, Stephanie Russo, James Sanchez, Star Smith, Julian Tinsley, Jay Walker.

Racing in the “B” Division, our team was victorious in their quarterfinal and semifinal races. In the finals, they captured the silver medal finishing second by only half a length to a rowing club from Boston. And this from a team that had only practiced twice before.
