From the South: Take I-91 North to Exit 29A (this is a left exit to the Capitol Area). This will bring you to the Conlin Highway. Follow the Conlin Highway to the rotary. Stay right and do not get onto the rotary. Continue to stay right and at the stop sign take a right onto Gold Street. Take a right into the first driveway and go to stop sign. At the stop sign, you will see the MDC Headquarters garage on your left. Enter the open garage door and give your name to the guard.

From the East using Interstate 84: Take I-84 West to the Downtown Hartford Exit (no exit number). At the bottom of the exit, go straight through the light to the next light.  At that light bear left around the old State House (State House will be on the right). The next light will intersect with Main Street - go straight through it and take the next left onto Lewis Street. Go to the end of Lewis Street and take a left onto Gold Street. Take a right into the first driveway and go to stop sign. At the stop sign take a left into MDC Headquarters garage and give your name to the guard.

From the East using Route 2:  Take Route 2 West to Route 3 (Putnam Bridge) to I- 91 North. Take Exit 29A (left exit to the Capitol Area), this will bring you to the Conlin Highway.  Follow the Conlin Highway to the rotary.  Stay right and do not get onto the rotary.  Continue to stay right. At the stop sign take a right onto Gold Street. Take a right into the first driveway and go to stop sign.  At the stop sign, you will see the MDC Headquarters garage on your left, enter the open garage door and give your name to the guard.

From the West: Take Route 84 East to Exit 52 (I-91 South).   Take Exit 29A (Capitol Area Exit), this will bring you on the Conlin Highway.   Follow the Conlin Highway to the rotary and stay right.  Do not get onto the rotary.  Continue to stay right.   At the stop sign take a right onto Gold Street.  Take a right into the first driveway and go to stop sign.  At the stop sign, you will see the MDC Headquarters garage on your left.  Enter the open garage door and give your name to the guard.
