Implements projects to address water quality. These projects range from new sewer and drainage system construction to increased wastewater treatment capacity.

water service to approximately 400,000 people in eight member
towns

hook up to a fire hydrant and automated meter reading devices.

Mid-CT Project
In 1984, the MDC entered into an agreement to operate the Mid-Connecticut trash-to-energy project for the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority
Water Pollution Control
Treatment
facilities in Hartford, East Hartford, Rocky Hill and Windsor are
responsible for an average daily flow capacity of more than 100 million gallons of sewage
